The QR codes on a print ad, a product box, and a conference badge all look the same, but they're not created equal. Whether a code is static or dynamic has a big business impact.

Static QR codes are locked forever: one QR code, one destination, with limited data capture. Dynamic QR codes, on the other hand, can change with the needs of the business. You can correct a mistake or update the destination to point somewhere new. And you can collect campaign data that goes far beyond basic scan count.

  • The URL can't be changed once the code is printed
