Introducing our new link editing experience

At Rebrandly, everything we build starts with our customers. We’re proud of having the most advanced link management and collaboration features out there, but we’re always looking for ways to make the experience even better.

Great link management isn’t just about shortening links—it’s about having the right tools to get your links to work harder for you. Our power users love features like traffic routing, mobile deep linking, and UTM parameters. But as we dug into our customers’ friction points, we noticed something: some customers weren’t aware of everything they could use Rebrandly to do, and others needed extra clicks to take advantage of these powerful features. We knew we could do better. So we built the entire link editing experience from the ground up.

Our new Link Edit Modal brings everything together in one place. No more searching, no more switching between screens—just a smooth, streamlined way to access all of Rebrandly’s capabilities when editing links.

Two ways to edit, one powerful experience

We updated the Rebrandly user interface with flexibility in mind. Now you have two options, depending on what you need to do:

Full page editor

When you’re doing heavy link management work, the full page editor gives you room to breathe. You can set up traffic routing, configure UTM parameters, and handle mobile deep linking without everything feeling squished together. Each tool is right there at your fingertips.

Side panel editor

For quick changes, the side panel slides in from the right so you don’t lose your place in the dashboard. Same features, just in a more compact layout.

Both options work the same way; we just made the interface adapt to how you actually work.

Centralized link management

Before this update, some advanced link controls were spread around the platform. Now it’s all right here:

  • Link editingUpdate destination URLs, customize link slugs, and edit link previews
  • UTM parameters – Add consistent campaign tracking
  • Traffic routing – Send users to different destinations based on device, location, or operating system
  • Mobile deep linking – Direct users to specific app pages for better conversion rates
  • Retargeting pixels – Track visitors and build custom audiences

(Note that features like link edits, traffic routing, and mobile deep linking are only available on specific paid plans. Interested in trying them out? Sign up for a free trial!)

Get started with the new Link Edit Modal

The new Link Edit Modal is live now. Just click the edit button next to any link in your dashboard to see the updated experience.

These updates are part of our ongoing effort to help marketers unlock the full potential of their links. We’re bringing advanced capabilities like traffic routing and mobile deep linking out of the shadows, so you can create links that are both beautiful and performance-driven.
